BURBERRY has unveiled a made to measure tailoring service for its signature trench coats.

The label's latest initiative, entitled Burberry Bespoke, will give shoppers the chance to customise their own trench coat online, with over 12 million available design variations, from the choice of fabric and colour of the fabric to the type of buttons and style of lining.

According to the Guardian, neither Christopher Bailey or Angela Ahrendts would confirm how much the luxury service would cost - only that prices would vary according to each look. The initiative will launch early next year.

Italian luxury lingerie company La Perla launched the new Jean Paul Gaultier Collection Createur for the first time in the United States on December 9th at its Madison Avenue flagship boutique in New York City.

Gaultier's designs for La Perla combine the femininity and seductiveness of La Perla with Gaultier's bold styling.

2011 Pirelli calendar presented by Karl Lagerfeld

The 2011 Pirelli Calendar was unveiled in Moscow and was put together by designer Karl Lagerfeld with the pictures being taken in his studio in Paris.

He dressed models including actress Julianne Moore in gold laurel wreathes and gold body paint, while the four male models wore metallic gold codpieces.

The designer chose the theme of Greek mythology for the photo shoot because of his childhood love for sagas such as Homer’s the Iliad, he said.
